Good position, very big room, even got a bidet, tv. Better than Portugal standard.
Pay attention at the terrace: could be in share with other rooms. Remember to low the rolling shutter.

The rooms were tidy and bright with air-con, a fantastic view, for instance. The staff was efficient and excellent all day long.

The location of this hotel was excellent, being very close to the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing good customer service. the rooms were clean and quiet, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The rooms were smaller than advertised, and some essential amenities were missing, like shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. The Wi-Fi signal was weak on the top floor, and there were some issues with the air conditioning and bathroom facilities.

Great location for very little money. The place is not particularly luxurious and rooms do need some renovation, but you don't expect to have 5star luxury for what you're actually paying for the rooms. Staff is friendly and rooms are big and cleaned every day so you're getting quite a lot for the very little money you actually spend. It's a bit uphill from the nearest metro (but 5 min walking from there only); main shopping street of Porto (with 2 shopping centres) is just round the corner and you can easily reach the centre and/or Ribeira by walking. It's on a rather quiet and safe street so there's no noise at night, although the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear your neighbors talk through the walls.
It's an old building so do expect some associated smells in the rooms. But then this is what you get pretty much anywhere in the old centre of Porto when it comes to cheap hotels.

The room was spacious, with a big window and a shared balcony. The location is good, in the city center, several minutes from the metro. It was quiet, I was even thinking that I'm alone in the hotel.
One of the lamps in the room was broken. Only one lady of the staff spoke a bit english, the rest only spoke portuguese. I hade some problems with technical stuff (wifi was off once and I need to print a document) and it's a bit of a problem to explain details without knowing portuguese. But it's just minor inconviniences, overall it was all good.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the market and the bustling Santa Catarina walking street. It is also conveniently situated next to a popular shopping street, making it an ideal choice for those who love to shop. The rooms are spacious and clean, with high ceilings and modern facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service to guests. Additionally, the breakfast offered is satisfying, offering a good start to the day.
The noise from the street can be disturbing at times.

We had a fantastic stay at a small guest house located in downtown old Porto. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk to Luís I bridge and had easy access to the metro. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view of the city. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, which was included in the price of our stay. it was a great experience.
That the walls were a bit thin, so we could occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms.

The personnel is friendly and always present to open the door. The bed is made every day, and the towels exchanged as well. Everything in bathroom was clean and functioned well.
Old musty smell, probably because of some water damage to the room. Only stay there to sleep.
